The A2 supports the A1 across the audio system — managing microphone placement and handoffs, running cable, and handling the logistics of keeping the audio system operating cleanly throughout the show. The A2 manages wireless pack distribution and retrieval for talent, monitors IEM feeds at the stage position, and handles any backstage audio needs.
On large corporate shows with significant wireless counts, the A2 and the RF/Comms tech work closely to coordinate pack swaps and frequency management without interrupting the show.
