This covers wireless microphone and IEM system deployment, frequency coordination, and the intercom architecture that keeps every department in communication through the show.
Intercom: Partyline systems are common on smaller shows: Clear-Com MS-702 / PS-702. Matrix systems handle complex routing with full IFB capability: Riedel Artist and Clear-Com Eclipse HX. Wireless intercom frees talent-side crew and roving positions: Riedel Bolero and Clear-Com FreeSpeak II.
RF & Wireless: Pre-show work includes a spectrum scan, a frequency plan across all devices, receiver and transmitter programming, and antenna positioning. Primary wireless microphone systems: Shure Axient Digital, Sennheiser Digital 6000, and Sennheiser Digital 9000. IEM systems include Shure PSM series.
