Responsibilities

  • LED Wall Deployment Assembles, cables, and rigs LED panels — for both temporary live-event deployments and permanent installations — to a tight, level, properly supported structure.
  • Processor Configuration & Mapping Configures LED processors, sets input mappings, and ensures the content received from the media server or EIC's signal chain lands correctly on the wall.
  • Calibration Calibrates the LED wall for uniformity, brightness, and color accuracy. A wall that looks bad is the LED tech's responsibility, not the media server op's.
  • Redundancy Builds in processing redundancy and failover paths. For a live event, loss of the LED processor is not acceptable — there is always a backup plan.
  • On-Show Support Monitors the wall throughout the show, swaps tiles if needed, and resolves any processing or display issues without interrupting program.
